国際基督教大学サッカー部（ICUFC）は、昭和38年（1963年）に設立された歴史あるクラブです。ICUは1学年700人足らずの規模の小さな大学で、サッカー推薦などの体育系推薦枠もありません。それでも、過去の先輩たちの活躍により、着実に成長してきました。
昨年度は、東京・神奈川3部リーグの5位という悔しい結果に終わりましたが、嬉しいニュースもありました。2026年1月、村田侑大選手（GK）が、高知ユナイテッド（J３）への移籍を果たしました。ICUFC出身のJリーガー誕生は初めてです。
私たちの今期の目標は、3部リーグ優勝と2部への復帰です。
「本気を楽しむ」をモットーに、目標に向けて部員一同、日々、トレーニングを重ねています。
ただ、私たちは、試合に勝つことだけを目標としているわけではありません。
大学としてのICUの理念と同様に、国際性や多様性を大切にしています。
長く海外で育った帰国生の部員も多く、海外からの留学生も受け入れています。
地元の小学生チームの指導も開始しており、地域に貢献できるクラブを目指しています。
そして、ICUFCのOBOGの皆様は、著名な経営学者でICU理事長でもある竹内弘高氏をはじめ、経済界、学界など内外で活躍されています。
チームの理念やユニークさを大切にしつつ、今年は昇格に向けて本気で練習や試合に取り組みます。

Our Team
The International Christian University Football Club (ICUFC), founded in 1963, is a long-established club at a small university with fewer than 700 students per class and no athletic recruitment system. Despite these limitations, the team has steadily developed thanks to the efforts of past generations.
Last season, ICUFC finished fifth in the Tokyo–Kanagawa Division 3 League, falling short of expectations. However, a major milestone was achieved in January 2026, when goalkeeper Yudai Murata signed with Kochi United (J3), becoming the first J-League player to come from ICUFC.
This season, our goal is clear: to win the Division 3 League and secure promotion back to Division 2. Guided by the motto “Enjoy Being Serious,” the team is training with full commitment toward promotion.
Beyond results, ICUFC values internationalism and diversity in line with ICU’s philosophy. Many players have international backgrounds, and we welcome students from overseas. We have also begun coaching local elementary school teams, aiming to contribute to the community. Our alumni include prominent figures such as Hirotaka Takeuchi, a leading management scholar and Chair of the ICU Board of Trustees.
While staying true to our values, we are fully dedicated to achieving promotion this year. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and encouragement.
